Hi! I’m Ruth Ann and I’m doing the World Race gap year 2021-2022! I still can’t get over it! I am so excited to see God’s provision in fundraising and his power through our travels to Costa Rica, Romania, and Cambodia.

I’m 17 and have lived in Augusta, Georgia for most of my life. Here I began to follow Jesus. Between a Christian school and weekly attendance in church, there wasn’t much in my life that didn’t involve him, except, ironically, my actual life. Despite having grown up with his name constantly in my ears, it wasn’t until a few years ago did I begin to know Christ, and through that knowledge, I began to love him desperately.

A little bit more about me. I love art, Augusta, my dog, friends, family, and church. I am on the Student Leadership team at my school and I help lead a middle school Bible study. After my gap year, I want to attend college to study non-profit leadership and art.

I can’t wait to share with you my journey this year!
